Assoc Prof Annika Mueller

Annika Mueller is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Economics and Business at the University of Groningen. Her research focuses on development economics, with a particular emphasis on field experiments and lab-in-the-field experiments. Current themes in her work include financial inclusion, aspirations, and gender dynamics. She has conducted projects in Ghana, Uganda, Pakistan, and Malawi, in collaboration with research partners such as Akhuwat, Meezan Bank, and the Cocoa Research Institute of Ghana. She currently supervises two doctoral students in development economics.
