Prof Iva Pesa

Iva Pesa is a Senior Lecturer in Contemporary History at the University of Groningen. Between 2022 and 2027 she leads the ERC Starting Grant AFREXTRACT: Environmental Histories of Resource Extraction in Africa. Her research focuses on the environmental and social history of Zambia, South Africa, and Nigeria.
