Dr Anita Veltmaat

Anita Veltmaat is Senior Policy Advisor International Strategy & Relations at the Department of International Strategy and Relations of the University of Groningen. She is the institutional coordinator for Sub-Saharan Africa in general, and for the strategic/comprehensive partnership between UG and Stellenbosch in particular, as well as The Guild - ARUA liaison (hence her involvement in the CoRES). Her previous regions/countries include North America, South Asia, Korea and Vietnam and Africa. Anita is a certified ECA auditor (Certificate for Quality in Internationalization), as well as a coach / trainer (individual coaching, peer group coaching sessions, active bystander training). At the University of Groningen, she is also involved in supporting women through leadership programmes and building communities (Rosalind Franklin Fellows | Aletta Jacobs Chairs). See more
