Prof Krisztina Kis-Katos

Dr. Krisztina Kis-Katos, appointed as Professor for International Economic Policy at the University of Göttingen in 2016, has a diverse academic background. She completed her studies in Economics at Szeged and Konstanz, followed by participation in the Swiss Doctoral Program at the Study Center Gerzensee. Her doctoral journey culminated in the attainment of a degree in Economics from the University of Freiburg in Germany in 2010. Dr. Kis-Katos' research interests span across applied development economics and political economy. Notably, her recent research endeavors delve into exploring the ramifications of (de-)globalization and broader macro-economic processes, along with the impact of related public policies on various social and economic facets, encompassing labor market dynamics, firm outcomes, land use alterations, deforestation, and conflict resolution.
